Tips for preparing Print-Ready Files

• If you send us scanned files, scan them at a minimum of 300 DPI or higher resolution. Use a clean good quality original copy for scan, this normally saves a extra effort and time by our prepress
• Prepare full color files in CMYK color mode
• Set resolution to 300 DPI at full size
• Convert fonts to outlines/curves
• Include 1/8" bleeds if image or text go to or beyond final finished cut-line
• Assign and also provide PMS color number for spot colors. Use Technical Instruction area while placing online order
• For Business Cards, Letterheads and Envelopes, use Pantone uncoated color swatches. 
• Multi-page documents should be in correct order
• Foil & Embossed areas need to be in black on a separate Layer/File. That layer or file should include ONLY foil/embossed area and nothing else
• Editable PDF or Native files are required for custom shape labels, stickers and die cut products
• We will convert Word & Excel files to PDF(s) free of charge
• Proof files are prepared free of charge. Proof revisions are also free. Minor modifications to your originals also carry no charge
• Our Prepress is very helpful, if you do not have the required file, just go to Get Free Proof link available at the top of each page. We will re-draw your file

Just send us your files or a good scanned copy at service@printingfairy.com, or use Get Free Proof link available at the top of each page. Our designers will review your files, prepare a layout or a proof file, and send for your review / comments. Once you are satisfied with the proof file, it can be used to place order with us.
